mind so down to earth
dreaming so high in the sky
wanting everything to go my way
disappointment when they fail
when it happens, if it happens,
i hope its how i wanted.

freak leakin

Home...yes, back in Iowa. It was so great coming back to the open sky and the rows and rows of cornfields. Though, its been two months to long. Im ancy. Is there somewhere out there that will want to make me actually stay?! Traveling across the country at age16 and not really settling into anywhere permanent has given me this crazy mindset. I am so happy to have the experience, but on the other hand I feel a bit wacko. There are so many things to be accomplished, but cant seem to figure out where to start. I am being faced with the question of "what do you want to do with your life". ah freakin! dont say it! dont want to think about it!Will somebody please tell me my future and reassure me that it will be OK

enough of that.
Took a rad little trip up to a suburb of Chicago to meet up with a freind along with my sister. It was good. Cleared the head a little bit. The purpose of the trip was to see Hanson. We ended up getting to see a couple more bands on tour wtih Hanson, Sherwood and Hellogoodbye. I was pretty stoked about hellogoodbye just because I got to hear Dear Jamie and it gave me a flashback to 8th grade. Seeing Hanson for like the 5th time was good. Got to see the gorgouse boys up close and personal. Too bad they are all married with children. After the show everybody waited outside the tour bus for a picture with them. It was pretty awkward to me actually. You could tell they didnt love doing this, and I felt awkward asking for a photo with them. Its totally fine though, thats what you get for being "famous" and stuff.
passed some totally cool sings that im kicking myself for not photographing. "Bong recreation area" was the first to be seen, then later on the ride back read a sign "family beer and liquor".

somethings got to give

Carson is my muse

Breathtaking

Decisions decisions...

Defiantly related

Did she get any of that in her mouth?

Deep thought.

Caveman deep thought.

Had a great time with my family in Hong Kong a couple weeks ago. What a crazy place for a vacation!

RIP Micheal Jackson! This guy lived a life full of controversy, and had some mad skillz too. I really wish I would have learned some of his moves, because everywhere I seem to go these days are blasting his music. Dangit!

2 more weeks in Hong Kong people. Hiya!

this muffin is dry and overpriced

Late night photo shoot.Theme: F*** the king!

Hiking in Hong Kong is amazing

My hiking crew.

And yes proof here, I climbed this mountian

The other day I watched Yes Man. Kind of strange things happend while and after I watched it. I decided to watch the movie because Jim Carrey was in it. It is about a guy (jim carrey) who keeps to himself for the most part and doesnt really go out because he just got out of a marrige. His friend gets him to go to this "Yes" seminar. Pretty much what happens is he has to say yes to everything, no matter if he wants to or not. Many good things come out of these yes situations. It happens that he is working at a bank called Brea Financial or somehtings like that. I know Brea is a city in california, but still it was strange. After the movie i thought that maybe i should develop a more yes attitude. So my freind calls asks me to come out right while i was getting ready for bed. I look up and the firstthings i see is the word YES on the bag of chips i was eating. wtf? just randomly. Yeah now your probably expecting that i went out and met the man of my dreams...but i went to bed instead. good story i know.

I'm sitting in my room watching some annoying movie called defiantly maybe and eating seaweed popcorn, im not really sure about the fishy sweet combination.
But otherwise, things in Hong Kong are good.
I went to the art museum of hong kong yesterday and it was quite amusing. After my art appreciacion class it takes me forever to get from one exhibit to the next.

They had a Louis Vuitton special exhibit. It was very cool actually, each room featured a different artists paintings sketches and designs who collaborated with Louis Vuitton.

Anybody who is in Hong Kong...check it out.

I havnt really wrote much about life in Hong Kong yet.
I am here for the second time, but having a completely different experience. The city feels the same but obviously different people, different apartment, even the same things are different. Hope you fallow. The first few weeks were king of rocky, but im pretty well adjusted now.
There are just a few things I still cannot stand.
1. People spitting(they make it well apperent that they are about to spit a luggie)
2. The meat markets. Stinky bloody carcases haning from chains is disgusting.
3. People on the sidewalk. You cannot walk from destination a to b without getting stuck behind slow (usualy old) people taking up the whole sidewalk, bumping into people who just stop walking out of nowhere, or people coming at you with their huge cart things. The personal bubble does not exist here.

Those are really my only complaints.

puppy raven

A more mature raven.

xanga treatures

So, I havnt really been doing this blog for a long time. Then I remembered Xanga. Xanga was actually just like a blog like this one. Pretty much everyone in midlle school had one. It seemed like to some it was some kind of a contest to see who could have the most freind and comments. At the end of peoples post it would say Please leave Comments or "~*~*!leave some love!*~*~". Almost all of the girls (a lot of the time guys) xanga posts included photos of themselves taking a picture of the top of their head and all they way down to their feet in they are standing in the bathroom mirrior because you can see the toilet on the left side of the photo. Heheh but dont you be ashamed many of us have done this. This was the start of the" emo" phase.
There was now a new label in school:
Preppy
Gothic
Skater
Gangster
and now emo.

I think i fit into every group. *~*
My blog consisted of photos of me and my Friends, and most importantly hayden christensen and just random shit me and gabi would do.
I am learning a lot myself reading back to these things i forgot about.
Reading back to the post about me digging trough the recycling bin in school to collect pespsi free itunes bottle caps, i got 100's of those babys. I am really a cheap ass.
Now I am remembering sleepovers with my freinds and how much fun it was. Just ordering pizza and watching movies and doing random nonsense. I think im a kid at heart.

Want to play halo now.
